So much news for this month, let's get started...

Another Year...

Our school was closed for 2 weeks for the Christmas/New Year break, and we re-opened on 5 January. This week we said hello to new students from Brazil, France, Japan, Korea, New Caledonia, Switzerland and Tahiti. Students are making friends quickly and have already planned their trips together for the weekend!

Summer

January has brought beautiful summer weather to Mount Maunganui. The temperature is about 25 degrees (Celsius of course!) and the sea is perfect for swimming. Also, thanks to our summer daylight savings time, it's light outside until about 9.00 pm! Plenty of time get outside and enjoy the beautiful climate. If you are stuck somewhere cold this winter, why not sneak to Mount Maunganui for a few weeks to work on your suntan?

Surfing

Have you always wanted to surf but didn't know how? Now is the time to try! January, February and March are the best months for learning to surf in Mount Maunganui, and our English + Surfing course is the way to do it. For more information please click here or contact us for details.

Exam Preparation

With the current global climate, now it's more important than ever to upgrade your skills. Why not take the opportunity to up-skill and increase your job prospects by enrolling in our Exam Preparation class and taking the Cambridge First Certificate exam. Then you'll be able show prospective employers that you have an internationally-recognised certificate of English ability. Students who take our course consistently achieve scores in the top 10% of all candidates in New Zealand, so you know it's a good course. Working Holiday

Thinking about a Working Holiday in New Zealand but don't know where to start? Our Working Holiday English course is for you!
